I decided to make my daughter a personalized birthday card with the stamp set Days to Remember. It’s easy to do this just by only inking up the dates of the month that you want to show. I show how to do it in this video here on YouTube.
Thank you for joining the Stampin Friends Blog Hop! Our first one of 2022! This month we are celebrating special occasions… And for me this month is both my husband's and my daughter's birthdays.
I decided to make my daughter a personalized birthday card with the stamp set Days to Remember. It’s easy to do this just by only inking up the dates of the month that you want to show. I show how to do it in this video here on YouTube.
It even includes cute stamps to personalize the inside of the card and circle their special day!
Plus it was fun to make this calendar card with the set too! The basic construction is just a card with the bottom anchor piece. Directions can be found here on my YouTube channel!

For this blog hop I wanted to feature the super adorable Cloud Punch, Rainbow of Happiness stamp set, and the FREE Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper Sunshine & Rainbows! It makes me so happy...
This is one of my favorite folds to make and you can see how here but I believe it's called a Bridge Fold. It collapses to the right and fits in a standard size envelope. The base is 8 inches by 4.5 inches and is scored on the long side at 1.25, 2.5 inches, 5.5 inches, and 6.75 inches. The bridge piece is 5.5 inches by 1 inch.
I hope you love this card and that the catalog blog hop inspires you to get crafting! Happy crafting, Melissa Imagine getting a piece of all the spring catalog 2022 papers above? Fun right? Even better is getting a card designed around each set! That's what you will receive when you participate in my Paper Party!

Happy crafting, Melissa Welcome to my blog-- Sea to Sea Stampin! Thanks for hopping along here with my Stampin' Friends! I absolutely LOVE Christmas (could be because my birthday is exactly a week before and I was supposed to be born on Christmas Day...) but anyway, I digress. This month's card and project is an ALL IN ONE! And it used a brown paper lunch bag... You just glue the flap down and then cut some pretty paper to cover all front pieces... Plus, it makes a handy hot cocoa holder! Here is the back where you can see the brown paper bag and the overhang from the front panel. If you want to see this go together-- check out my YouTube video here! I hope you enjoyed this project! And don't forget to keep hopping along...

Welcome to my blog, Sea to Sea Stampin! I am Melissa Thomas-- I have been a demonstrator for 8 years and a Paper Pumpkin subscriber for even longer!!!
This month's kit is AMAZING! I always love the Christmas kit and this year I got extras-- partly so I can teach them at this new assisted living facility I am teaching a class at-- and partly for myself! These are going to be FUN to make and send!
For this month's blog hop I combined the card and gift projects into one-- to make this cute bookmark pocket card! I first featured it on my Instagram-- then I made a similar version on my Facebook Live last night (always Wednesday at 7pm) and it's on my YouTube channel too!
These are going to make terrific gifts for Marianne's teachers-- the pocket can hold a small scale fancy hot cocoa packet, one of those VIA coffee packets, a gift card, or in this case a Perfectly Posh sample!
All you need is an extra piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock and a small piece of Basic White cardstock that is cute with the Tailored Tag dies. And you can get TWO out of every original card base-- that means you can make 10 of these cute cards!! Plus another five from the packet with the buffalo check cards...
BTW-- the gems in this kit are SO sparkly!
Did you know you can get refills? And all you really need is a good Christmas sentiment stamp set-- the magic is in the refill.
Keep hopping along to see all the amazing alternative projects! Happy crafting, Melissa
Hi and welcome to my blog! I am Melissa Thomas, a Stampin' Up! demonstrator from Austin, Texas and I love Halloween! I always have-- I blame my mother (of course) as she made my costumes every year and always made a big deal about it!
For this blog hop I decided to feature the super cute bats in the Cutest Halloween DSP and an easy fun fold! If you want directions on how to make this card, check out my YouTube video showing how to make it and another fun fold Halloween card here!
Don't forget to keep hopping along to see other Halloween inspiration and I hope you have a Happy Halloween! Hand out candy to call the kids who come by, okay? It's been a tough year and they could all use a little fun!
Happy crafting, Melissa Welcome to our Stampin' Friends blog hop! This month we are focused on giving thanks, which is always one of my favorite things to craft for! I am Melissa Thomas and this is Sea to Sea Stampin! For my card this month I took the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder and put a piece of the Beauty of the Earth DSP through it. Seriously stunning. Whoever gets this card should know they are LOVED and we are so THANKFUL for them! My 3D project for this month is a gift for my retreat attendees (happening this weekend in Temple, Texas!) This wrap is easy because you just score a 4" x 6" piece of Blackberry Beauty DSP on the long side at 1.5", 3", and 4.5" and stamp the sentiment with Banner Year stamp set in Blackberry Bliss! Want to see what's in the wrapper? Come on over to Instagram and I will show you! (Hint: It's super fancy but I got it at the Dollar Tree!)
Don't forget to keep hopping along! I can't wait to see what everyone has created!
Happy crafting, Melissa
Thanks for hopping along and welcome to Sea to Sea Stampin! My name is Melissa Thomas and I have been a demonstrator for 8 years, as of this month! In celebration of that and to push myself, I have signed up for a year of training with Bruno and Kylie Bertucci so that I can work very hard to make this my full-time gig and earn the Baltic cruise for Jonathan and I to take. What a dream that would be...
In the spirit of growth, I always reassess how I run my business in October of every year because that is when the Stampin' Up! year begins anew. And this year I am committing to sending every customer who places any size order with me a hand-stamped thank you card that month! I am also committing to sending my top 10 team members in sales a hand-stamped card as well! This month I am sending everyone this card I designed live on Facebook, which you can see here on Facebook or here on YouTube. Consider subscribing to my YouTube channel, as I just got over 100 subscribers and have a big goal to get to 1000 by next September!
This card is pretty simple, using DSP and more DSP for the background and then even using DSP for the background layer of the Shaded Summer flower. The razzle dazzle is the Sale-a-bration glimmer paper that I might have stockpiled... lol!
I hope you have loved seeing this project and for those of you who are on my team, keep pushing, and for my customers-- don't forget that any purchase you make this month qualifies you for this card! And remember, keep hopping along... There is a LOT of inspiration and energy on this blog hop! Happy crafting, Melissa
I am glad you are hopping over here to see what cute alternative projects we have cooked up... What an adorable kit this month! Sometimes it's hard for me to make alternative projects when the kit is this cute, but this month I found some cute gifts at the Dollar General that inspired me.
But the refills are still available and I would seriously grab some-- this would work with any stamp set you have!
Aren't these mini wax melts cute? And they are perfectly colored to match with the kit-- Soft Succulent, Pale Papaya, Pumpkin Pie!!
I took one of our cute Ombre Gift bags, stamped on it with the leaves (stamping off for the solid image), and the crinkled the whole bag to make it look a little more rustic. A couple holes punches in the top and the wire closes the whole thing! These are going to make super sweet teacher gifts!
The card inspiration came from the box, which does make that adorable wheelbarrow, but this long piece was leftover from the side of the box and I thought it would make an adorable card! Add a little Soft Succulent cardstock and bam! I did punch one of the boxes to make the backer piece to the oval piece...
Here are all the projects together-- I really love all the rustic elements-- and this photo shoot helped me realize that our floors are a perfect match! lol!
Don't forget to keep hopping along! I am sure that everyone is going to have amazing projects!
