Wow. My first Stampin' Up! Convention, and hopefully just the first of many, was awesome. I am utterly worn out but I'll try to give you the non-product highlights... Below are some goodies my teammates made me-- so sweet!
I was selected to design a display board for our team. Only 20 teams were selected in America and it was great to coordinate my team members for our "Hello Honey" board from the Southern Sweet Stampers!
We got a sneak peek at September's Paper Pumpkin and made our own treat bag!
The opening session Thursday morning was amazing-- gave me goosebumps to be there with 3600 other demonstrators! I loved having my upline (and sorority sister) Angie there!
I was selected as the only demonstrator in South Carolina to play an online hide. & seek game with an autographed (Shelli Gardner & Becky Higgins) Project Life by Stampin Up kit! So excited!! Stay tuned for that!
I also got my picture with Shelli Gardner, co-founder and CEO of SU! Look at those handmade paper flowers!
We also participated in a service project to make hygiene kits for the homeless!
And got a tour if the home office!
The COO gave an awesome presentation on day two that included a funny story about Stampin Up getting into the Japanese market plus actual stamping by him!!
Awards night I had a delicious sushi dinner by myself at Naked Fish (one of the only meals I actually had to buy) and then we enjoyed a county fair style after party with funnel cake sticks, bull riding, and meeting Shelli's daughter Sara Douglass! She's so sweet!
Our fearless team leader Candy earned her way into the Founder's Circle (top 100 demonstrators) and we couldn't be prouder! Here she is happily playing with the new stapler that punches through several layers of cardstock-- she's in love with it! "There are staplers and then there are staplers." Her and Angie were great roommates and we really travel well together!
Here's the team members that went-- 10 of us and for 8 it was our first time!! Southern Sweet Stampers !
And here is me-- loving it but exhausted! We stayed up late laughing our heads off and I've got more ideas than I know what to do with! I have 26 to do list items and 11 blog posts planned!! I hope you keep following me!!
Happy crafting!
Hugs,
Melissa
